Clifton Minis welcomed Chew Valley this week with games played in excellent spirit , not all the details are in yet but u7s lost out, u9s shared the spoils and u10s and u11s won overall

Clifton under 7s were beaten by a well organised Chew Valley team. Daisy Dibble, Edward Gallen and Christian McMullan were amongst the scorers for Clifton.

Clifton under-9s played two hard-fought matches against Chew Valley. The first match was lost two tries to one, with Sam Read scoring late on. There was some fine tackling from Alex Reid and Tom Dibble. The second match was won 6-3 with tries from Sam Sproull (2), Herbie Gale (2), Louis and Marcus. New boy Finn made some good tackles. Great effort all round in both games from everyone.

 Clifton under 10s and Chew Valley both put out two teams and played four matches against each other overall – Clifton came out on top overall winning two and drawing two. Centre Harry Rowson scored 6 tries while forward Louis Wagen scored two tries. Will Laino, Max Faria , Tom Tranter and Jack Tomkins also got on the score sheet for Clifton as did Max Faria, Will Laino , Ruairi Smith and Harvey White. Special mention to Freddie Anderson-Bickley, Harvey White and Freddie Vaughan who each played a half for the opposition and evened things up.

Clifton under 11s had a convincing 30 – 10 win with Blake Boyland scoring 4 tries.
