Clifton u16’s matched the achievement of the u15s a few weeks earlier and won the combination plate beating Old Bristolians 27-10.

The first try came from a break from Ian Gardiner who made a 25 m break from the half way line to give an inside ball to centre Jack Greenwood who offloaded in the tackle to Carew rowley who scored under the posts.

Scrum half Henry watson scored from 5m out and the final try came when number  13 Ellis jenkins scored after a beautiful cross kick from fly half ian gardiner to run in from 30m out. Clifton missed  out on a number  of overlap opportunities  in the second half and the game was played in a good spirit at Broad Plain RFC
