Clifton were glad to host the event and from the note received from organiser Andrew Humpries (click on read more) it appears that the fund raising was a success and the event could become an annual fixture.

Dear Secretary

I would like to thank you and everyone at Clifton Rugby Club for your help in making last Sundays match a fantastic success. We are heading towards £4000 in proceeds and the legends are keen to put in a repeat performance next year!!
