Clifton play Shelford on Saturday in their last home game of the season. Both teams are safe in mid-table but Clifton will be keen to put last weeks performance behind them and get back to their recent high performance levels. After an unimpressive start to the season Clifton really picked up the pace around Christmas time and put in a string of excellent performance. Recently their form has fluctuated more with some very good performances in amongst some mediocre ones so they will be keen to finish on a high. Clifton management and players are still training hard and know it will be a tough challenge against a team whose season and position in the league has largely reflected Clifton's. They have also recorded some excellent victories after an indifferent start. In other games the Bandits have Thornbury 3rds at home whilst on Sunday the Colts have the Gloucestershire cup final away at Stroud against Old Patesians KO 14:00 all at the club wish them the best of luck. Last weekend the Under 15s recorded a fine victory at home against Cirencester in the semi final of the cup (click here for the report) and play Barton Hill on the 29th in the final. The under-16s were full of running during their 26-12 victory over Cheltenham. Scrum-half Ed Jenkins led the way with two tries, while No 8 Ed Tait and hooker James Brooke claimed a try apiece. Fly-half Ian Gardiner booted three conversions. ***IF YOU HAVE ANY NEWS FROM AROUND THE CLUB YOU WOULD LIKE POSTED PLEASE CONTACT ME BARNABY KENT AT This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it OR TWEET US @cliftonrugby****
