Clifton Raffle - Shirt Sponsorship Winners Announced PDF Print E-mail
shirt2012_13_doublesmall.png The Clifton Raffle 2012 saw yet another increase of numbers of excited corporate entrants to our ever-popular Shirt Sponsors Draw.

Drawn out before a packed house at The Clifton Club in The Mall, Clifton Village the scene of CRFC’s Black Tie end of season soirée. Lets introduce you to the winners and our partner sponsors!

This year our Shorts will see a favorite logo of the club in the form of The Brunel Kitchen & Café Bar. (Already our famous Nomads main shirt sponsor and Bandits back of shirt sponsor, its great to see the Alexander family who own and run The Brunel come up as a winner for the National League kit too. Licensees (Sally and David Alexander) & General Manager (Matthew Alexander also a Nomads player) will be delighted to give you a warm welcome at The Brunel, 38 The Mall Clifton Village. It’s a Free House  - Open from 12.00 to 00.00 hours Monday to Saturday, 12.00 to 23.30 hours on Sunday. Typical daily menu - Calamari - Rib eye steak - Brunel Burger - Home made Fish Pie - Home made Cottage Pie - Home cooked Ham - Mediteranean Platter etc ; Specials of the day on the board. Clifton finished on a high by comfortably beating Barking to secure their national league status in the last game of the season. Clifton turned on a great show of rugby and ran out convincing winners but Barking certainly never gave up and obviously have a team they can build on for next season.

Wanderers crowned County reserve league champions

wandererschampions.jpgClifton 2nds narrowly edge passed arch-rivals Dings Knights to claim the Gloucestershire Reserve Premier League title for the first time, at Landseer Avenue on Saturday.

With Clifton sitting at the top of the table narrowly above Dings the game was being touted for weeks before hand as winner takes all game. Coach Mark Nichols also faced a tough a set of tough selection issues after a good number of regular 2nd XV players had been called up into the 1st XV for their crucial league game vs Hartpury College.

Bristol Legends vs Legends Sunday 5th May

The Bristol Legends v Legends match is to take place at Clifton RFC on Sunday 5th May with a kick off time 3pm. The match will be played with a mixture of Bristol Rugby Legends and Combination players on each side and will be played for the Children’s Cancer Charity, CLIC.
