Welcome to Clifton Minis which provides high-quality coaching for the Under 6 to Under 12 age groups. All coaches are either Level One or Two-qualified and we have more than 50 of them in the club which provides an excellent ratio for coaching.

Head Coach of the club is Matt Salter with Mark Regan the Bristol, England and British Lions hooker the forwards coach. Needless to say we benefit hugely from having this level of experience at the club.

The philosophy of the Minis, which is in line with RFU policy, is to provide
quality coaching for all the boys and girls regardless of ability so everyone has an opportunity to develop to their maximum potential in a fun atmosphere.

The emphasis is on developing the fundamental skills of running, throwing,
jumping, hopping and bounding – the ABC’s of athletics while developing their rugby skills and knowledge. We have some of the best pitches in the South West and occasionally the children get to play on the stadium pitch which is sometimes used for Junior Internationals.

On Sunday 11th September the children will parade around the Memorial
Stadium to form a Guard of Honour for the Bristol and London Scottish teams in their championship match as part of the Bristol Super Sunday experience.
