The best way to keep up to date with Clifton Rugby Club

Santa Claus visits Clifton Rugby

7 months ago By Wyn Tingley

It was at the Mini's Christmas Party that the North Pole's most famous character made a welcome appearance

“Ho Ho Ho” Father Christmas

Now that was a party! Following a light training session, the Clifton Mini Rugby players were in great spirits and enthusiastically joined in the Christmas fun.

As the photograph shows, there wasn't a square centimetre of floor space free when Santa visited. Mums and Dads were also enjoying the festive atmosphere and their mini players celebrated.

Remember, there's one final chance to celebrate Christmas at the Club, this coming Saturday, when the Clifton 1st XV welcome local(ish) rivals Cinderford for a National League 2 South match.

Kick off is at 3pm and all Clifton Members are encouraged to come and cheer the boys along.

If you fancy a Christmas lunch - then please book in for a 2 course seasonal sit down and join in the pre-match fun and build-up.

Afterwards, and open to all, there's a Christmas party and disco until late - see you there!
