Feel the rhythm, feel the rhyme, get on up, it’s egg chasing time!

New recruit Lucas Roy-Smith stars in Jamaica’s rugby 7s squad at this year’s Commonwealth Games.

Lucas joined Clifton this year having had a small break away from rugby.

However he’s impressed and Lucas has featured within the Clifton Rugby 1st XV on various occasions this season. The scrum half who is from the Midlands has Jamaican heritedge and last year help Jamaica Rugby 7s side qualify for the Rugby World Cup 7s series in San Francisco.

Lucas studied at Hartpury College and featured in their squads with twin brother Nathan on many occasions within their teen years. He now resides here in Bristol and manages a small cocktail bar by Clifton Down, called Her Majesty's Secret Service. A place we highly recommend for some amazing cocktails and quirky atmosphere.

As a club we wish him and Jamaica well in their fixtures down under and hope you join us in congratulating him on his selection achievements. All the best Lucas.
