Clifton will aim to keep a 100% home record when they host league newcomers Redingensians

History has shown that what’s happened previously – good or bad – means nothing come kick off.
- New Zealand skipper Richie McCaw

Last weekend, in an uncharacteristically sunny visit, the team had a convincing win away at Cornish Old Blacks in Launceston. Last season the CABs did ‘the double’ over Clifton, so it was a very satisfying win indeed.

But what of this week's opponents?

Clifton have played Old Redingensians before, the last time being in Clifton's promotion season (2008/09) when our first home game was a defeat 29-32 to the visitors.

Let’s hope Saturday’s match is as exciting. However, our boys in #LavenderAndBlack will strive to keep our 100% home record intact.

Not content with just the one match on Saturday, Redingensians 2s play Clifton Wanderers on our back pitches to complete a full afternoon of sport at Station Road.

The Rugby World Cup is still with us and Saturday sees some intriguing matches with Australia v Wales & England v Uruguay. Both games will be shown in the function room and Member’s bar – please join us after the match to watch.

Look out for the match highlights on Clifton Rugby TV and Enjoy the Game!
