Unfortunately the Colts went down 11-10 to Matsons in a hard fought final. Despite scoring 2 tries to 1, Clifton were unable to make that decisive score.

In a physical match, with little between the teams, Clifton just weren't able to perform to the level they are capable of, with the final pass always seeming to go astray. With time running out, in what was one of the last plays of the game, Clifton seemed to have broken the deadlock with a well worked try, only to be ruled out for a forward pass.

It was disappointing to finish what has been a fantastic season for the boys, this way, but we hope for future success, to all the boys who will now move on to senior rugby.
