Clifton rugby regret to announce the passing of three Club Stalwarts

R.A. Garrett 1918-2017
Tony Garrett was a fine second row forward and represented Gloucestershire many times.
He was a former Club Captain and President . He was the longest serving member of Bristol and Clifton Golf Club, having first played there in 1932 at the age of 14.

A celebration of Tony's life will take place on Tuesday 31st October at 12 noon.
At the Memorial Woodlands, Earthcott Green, Alveston, BS35 3TA.

Mel Wyeth
Mel, a fine second row or No 8, who played in the late 1960's and lived recently in Australia.

Please refer to our history web site, cliftonrfchistory.co.uk. There is a photo dated March 29th 1969, depicting the 1st XV, who played Penryn RFC, some 48 years ago !

Mrs Dot Lemon
The husband and wife Club stewards, Dick and Dot Lemon were the couple who managed the Clubhouse in the early 1990's. Life member Dick passed away earlier in the summer.
The funeral of Mrs Lemon will take place on Friday 10th November at Canford, at 13:30.
