In a tense and close encounter Clifton ran out 19-10 winners against Dings RFC, at the new Combination ground. Regardless of the fact that the team were without a number of boys through injury and enforced absence because of Bristol Rugby, the boys put in a strong performance against a spirited Dings side.

Despite being 10-0 down late in the first half, Clifton went on to score 19 unanswered points to clinch the title. With strong performances throughout the team and an overall desire to run the ball at every opportunity, the forwards deserved special credit for both their defence and their dynamic running and offloading.

Coming off the loss just 3 days ago in the Gloucestershire County final, this was a great way to round off the season.
