A memorial rugby match to celebrate the life of Ryan Bresnahan who died of meningitis aged 16

Clifton Rugby is proud and honoured to be the host for this annual, important & poignant match. I hope you enjoy yourselves and the competition and support the crucial work being done in meningitis research.

A memorial rugby match to celebrate the life of Ryan Bresnahan a pupil of Clifton College and a keen sportsman who died of meningitis aged 16 will be held at Clifton RFC on Tuesday 27 September 2016 at 7.15pm

Clifton College 1st XV will play Cheltenham College 1st XV on the main pitch and under floodlights for the Ryan Bresnahan trophy.

A match preceding the main game between Clifton College u13 and Kings Hall will start at 6.20 pm.

A Barbeque and refreshments will be available on the night.

Ryan’s parents John and Michelle are raising money for a cure for meningitis and there will be an entrance fee of £3 for adults and £2 for concessions with all proceeds going to “ A Life for a Cure “.

I hope you are able to join us for this fantastic rugby event between 2 entertaining rugby teams and for the rugby community to come together to show support for the Bresnahan family in their aim to find a cure for meningitis.
