Clifton & Gloucester Academy back row to face Bath in Premiership Cup.

The last few days in training have been really good, the attitude has been excellent and there are a lot of young boys looking forward to it.
- Tim Taylor, Gloucester Coach

Gloucester Academy & Clifton registered No8 Cam Terry has been named on the bench for the Gloucester this weekend in their Premiership Cup fixture against local rivals Bath. Now tube played on Monday 4th February 7:45 Kick Off.

Cam has been dual registered with Clifton this season and has shown some impressive performances in National 2 and gets reward for his good form. Gloucester Coach Tim Taylor has stressed that, although qualification for the semi-finals is still possible, that everyone is focused on Saturday’s performance and nothing else.

“We need a few results to go our way as well, but we’ll just be focused on going there and trying to get a result ourselves to give us the best chance.

“No matter the competition, Bath vs Gloucester is a massive game and whoever has the privilege of wearing the Gloucester jersey this week will, I’m sure, thrive on going down there and playing at the Rec.

“The last few days in training have been really good, the attitude has been excellent and there are a lot of young boys looking forward to it.”

Gloucester have announced a strong team, with former Clifton player Callum Braley starting at 9 and another player to have worn the Lavender & Black, Josh Bayliss starting for Bath at 6.

Bayliss turned in some impressive performances during his stint at Clifton in the 2016/17 season and since then he has gone on to make a number of 1st XV appearances for Bath in both the Premiership & Champions Cup; Cam will be looking to make the same impact given his chance this weekend.
