Prior to Saturday’s league fixture, Club President John Raine invited the 1st XV onto the stage in the main function room to accept the Bristol & District Combination Cup. The trophy was won for an unprecedented third successive time and Combination Chairman, Adrian Siddorn was on hand to present it.

In a delightful surprise, President Raine invited Clifton Rugby former player, committee member and multi-role dependable Ben Jordan onto stage to accept the Cup on behalf of the Players and Club.

Ben has supported the Club in so many capacities over the seasons that it was a fitting tribute to him to be honoured for his unique contribution. No other Club has won this trophy 3 times in a row before and no other Member has been as valuable as Ben has!
