Clifton U12s had another successful home tournament, although again we were unlucky not to do even better. A mixed ability squad showed great commitment in holding a full-strength Keynsham, before beating Stow and OBs. A win against a good Bath team would have seen us as overall winners. Sadly it was not to be. Just as last year a break-away try by the same team knocked us out, so this year a try was awarded when we thought we had grounded the ball ourselves. Defeat left us in third, but we still won the Plate. Well done to all the boys who played. A good start to the season.
