Clifton enjoyed a fantastic day at the Gloucestershire Cup, winning 4 out of 5 games, drawing the other, and qualifying for the semi-finals in March without conceding a try. We beat Tewkesbury 20-0, Cheltenham 10-0, drew with Frampton Cotterell 0-0; and beat Stroud 25-0. That meant we topped our group and put us through to the quarter-finals, where we beat Stow 10-0. All the team played brilliantly - the forwards won us a lot of ball, the half-backs used it intelligently and the backs scored lots of good tries. Well done everyone.
