We have had a great weekend of rugby, we found ourselves in a group with four other teams at the first stage, all other clubs put out several teams, while we went with only 8 children

We beat all four teams
Minehead 30-20
Winchester 2's. 30-25
Monmouth 20-25
Winchester 4's. 35-15

We then went to the semi final stage where we played Winchester 1's and beat them 30-25, which put us through to the final against Monmouth 2's.
John and I were very proud coaches and a bit like expectant fathers in the final
We went into the second half 10-10, but were pipped at the post 20-10, so we were runners up in the cup.
We were up against 20 other teams, so we did an amazing job

All the guys played really well, it was a wet, windy and muddy weekend, but they all had fun, they did us all proud.

Well done to Jake, Elliott, Will, Ollie, Joe, Rory, Finley & Dan and all the parents for your support in some desperate weather conditions.
