10 v 12 Results in Win for Clifton U11s

Clifton U11s fielded a depleted side of only 10 players due to illness and players away. Playing Old Rules which is 12 aside, we decided that we would take on a squad of 16 players from Keynsham. Clifton 2 players down and no subs had to make sure they played good rugby against a decent Keynsham side.

We played 4 quarters and came away wining all 4 quarters with the final result at 56-0. Sami Hamid scored 4 tries including a brilliant interception, Ben Paine thundered through for 2 tries and Jake Davies dived over for 2 tries. Jake also successfully converted all 8 tries.

Keynsham showed great spirit and did not give up throughout the game and were dominant in the rucks and mauls. The forward play being dominated by Keynsham showed how well the Clifton backs defended and counter attacked.

Well done to Theo, Jake, Sami, Ben, Matt, George, Padi, William, Zac & Monty. A tiring game but great experience .
