U12's Happy Coaches

Clifton U12s win the Keynsham tournament with 11 players. Due to injuries and players away on leave Clifton could only raise 11 players for the tournament.

Clifton thought about withdrawing from the tournament for a moment but decided it would be good to take the squad we had available and enjoy the day. With 1 payer short and therefore no subs Clifton U12s do what they do best, get their heads down and get on with it.

Clifton faced Cleve and Chippenham in their group. An impressive 20-0 win against Cleve followed by 35-0 against Chippenham showed that Clifton were not missing the 12th man.

Into the finals and Clifton faced the hosts Keynsham. Clifton scored from the kick off and picked up the trophy with a convincing 40-5 win over a strong Keynsham side.

We may decide to play more tournaments with a player down.....
