Clevedon step in to give U13s a game

This season of the 9 pre-arranged Gloucestershire Cup waterfall ties Clifton have had opponents cancel no fewer than 4 times. This is not only disappointing, and has meant lack of match time this season, but concerning that so many clubs cannot at U13s put 13 aside teams out. This is a worry for future seasons.

Thankfully at the last minute Clevedon stepped up to the plate and gave Clifton a run out at the last minute.

Whilst the game was fairly one sided Clevedon to their credit never gave up during the 50 minutes, kept their heads up and most importantly showed great spirit. They missed a few opportunities to score themselves but did not have the conviction to beat the last man, which was a shame as their efforts deserved a try. Once Clifton started the try scoring machine Clevedon were unable to stop it.

Clifton saw tries run in by forwards and backs with some good moves to cut through the Clevedon defence. All players got at least a half of rugby. Tries were scored by Brock, Jimmy, Davey, Sasha, Milan (3), Hamid (2), Paddy, Matty, Ish (2), Andre, Connor, Theo.
