The day started sunny but soon the temperature began to drop and the wind came in and a cold match loomed ahead. The match was a friendly against North Bristol.

The game was split in to 4 quarters. We had a squad of 15 which meant we could roll our substitutions throughout the game.

We started slowly, perhaps because of the long Christmas break and a little too many Christmas treats. However we improved as the game progressed and managed to win the game 28-7. Will crossed the line 3 times and Matty scored another, with Jake converting all four kicks.

In our first quarter we only scored seven points.

In the second quarter the opposition started well and they charged down a clearance kick to carry the ball over, but soon after we crossed their line again.

In the third quarter we improved massively scoring two more tries to be leading by fourteen points.

The last quarter we scored one final try to win by a clear twenty-one points.

Overall we were confident and concentrated through-out , improving as the game went on and took our chances well.
