U14s Out of Combination Cup

2 of the top sides in the area came together today with a place in the semi final at stake.

Cleve started at a furious pace that Clifton couldn't live with. 3 mistakes, 3 tries made it 15-0 at half time. Unfortunately by now we had lost influential centre Owen Hickery to a broken jaw which meant our skipper playing centre. This didn't help our cause as Cleve dominated the break down. A further injury to our fly half Jude meant we spent the last 15 mins with various forwards in the backs as Cleve ran riot.

Overall Cleve thoroughly deserved their victory playing a very impressive brand of rugby. It will take a very good team to beat Cleve and we wish them luck in the semi.

The day was finished off with 2 of our coaches having a beer or 2 with the opposition coaches which ended about 10pm. I can't name the 2 but I expect you can guess!!
