U14s enoy a day in the sun

Clifton hosted two teams - Weston Hornets and a touring team from Ledbury RFC. Clifton played a very strong Hornets side who came to Clifton with the intent on upsetting the hosts. Hornets came out the blocks very fast to to score a well worked try but could not convert but this only made the host more determined to show Hornets how to play a good fast flowing strong game of rugby . There was great rugby played by both forwards and backs combining to score some great trys scorers were Gage 2, Moniee 2, Ben morgan 1 and 1 try from man of the match Kieron who made some barnstorming runs and made some great tackles to stop the opposition from scoring anymore trys to win the game 32-10.

Clifton started the second game against a strong touring team where they left off, playing some great rugby to beat Ledbury 38-5 with trys from Kieron 3, Gage 2, Moniee 1 and Finn with 4 conversions to wrap up a great day of rugby.

A great day of rugby in great sunshine by 3 good sides.
