Clifton were in high spirits after the festive period. It was a cold morning but the team were ready to put in 110%. Gage opened up the scoring with a flying run to the corner catching the Dursley defence off guard in the opening minutes of the game. Clifton were hungry for more and besides a defensive error that led to an early consolation try for Dursley, Clifton were strong and continued to rack up the points. Gage was prolific, putting in a solid performance with 3 tries, Alec had an outstanding game scoring twice and for his first game back after injury Zak contributed with two tries also. There were several other exceptional individual performances that contributed to the score. Overall Clifton went out strong and finished strong leaving them with confidence to go into the next cup game on a high.
