Clifton have named a strong side for the arrival of Barnes on Saturday as they look to kick off their league campaign with a good performance. Following a tough pre-season fixture list, the side will be looking to start well against a strong Barnes outfit who Clifton did the double over last season.

Luke Stratford makes his debut, with Mark Roberts and Ricky Cano packing down either side of him in the Front Row as Cano makes his return to Clifton. Matthew Hall and Henry Harper make up the Second Row with Naill Gibbons starting at 8. Dan Broady & Mike Uren make their bows at 7 & 6.

Mitch Spencer renews his partnership at 9, with Brad Barnes starting at Fly-Half. Kieran Griffiths makes his debut at 12, partnering captain Chris Levesley at 13 whilst Fin Sharp, Bentley Halpin and Cam McDonald make up the back 3.

The bench sees Jack Williams, Jack Spencer join Tom Wilson and Gloucester Academy & England U18 Second Row Archie Benson whilst Sam Harrison provides cover for the backline.
