Flanker adds to Clifton's strength in depth for the season

Clifton are pleased to announce the signing of former Blackheath flanker Harry Bate. Originally with Newbury Blues, Harry spent two seasons in the north-east with Blaydon, making 40 National League One appearances, and scoring 18 tries for the Crows, before returning south to join Old Albanian in the summer of 2015. He signed for Blackheath in 2017 where he made over 20 appearances as well as representing England Counties.

Bate, who made his debut in Saturdays 18-14 win over Bury St. Edmunds whilst also being named Man of the Match, adds to the quality and depth that Clifton have in their back row as Matt Salter continues to build on a successful start to the 2019/20 season.
