Mike Uren has re-signed with Clifton following 2 seasons with Cleve. Uren has had previous spells at Dings & Cinderford before he signed at Station Road in 2016. Uren has also represented Gloucestershire as well as numerous appearances for Bristol A and Bristol in the Singha 7's series.

A ball playing athletic forward, he is equally at home across the back-row and will only enhance the options Clifton have in the pack and at set piece.

He's got great ability, reads the game well and he leads by example, plus he will undoubtedly add to the environment here on a day-to-day basis. He's got the attributes both as a player and a person that will strengthen our squad on and off the park."

Uren will be in contention to face his old university Cardiff Met on Friday 30th August, Kick Off 7:30pm, when the 2001 BUCS champions visit Station Road for Clifton's final pre-season game.
