Davies makes first start with Sheriff set to debut off the bench.

Redruth are physical and abrasive, but they can play. We have done a lot of work on them this week so we need to ensure we execute our game plan and manage the game in the right areas. We know what we can bring, we just have to be accurate .
- Matt Salter, Head Coach

Clifton once again shuffle their pack this weekend as they look to continue their good start to 2019 as they face Redruth in Round 19 of National 2 South.
Redruth (9th) sit just above Clifton (10th) in the table, level on 42 points and the Lavender & Blacks will want to ensure they atone for the 50-36 defeat at The Recreation Ground earlier in the season.

Injury rules out Gloucester Academy No8 Cam Terry so Chris Rovery comes straight back into the starting line up at 7. He is joined by Andrew Chesters at Blindside who also makes a return to the team having been unavailable against Worthing, with Dan Hill dropping to the bench. Niall Gibbons continues at No8 and will look to build on his strong showing last week.

In the second row, Matty Davies is promoted from the bench for his first start. The 6ft 6 lock has been impressive in training this week since his signing from Llanelli and partners the ever present Henry Harper. The front row remains unchanged, with Callum Simpson and Jack Spencer either side of Dave Wheeler.

Mitch Spencer captains the side once more from scrum half and partners Brad Barnes at 10. Sam Goatley, who scored 4 tries in the win against Worthing and has so far scored 10 tries in 8 games this season, wears 12 and partners Chris Leversley at 13 once again. Wingers Will Pomphery and Hugh Campbell are retained and Tom Francis slots back into the 15 shirt in place of injured Gloucester Academy full back Reece Dunn.

The bench sees new signing Shek Sheriff make his competitive bow; the second row signs from local rivals Dings Crusaders having also represented Gloucester A this season and adds more power and dynamism to the Clifton front 5. Mark Roberts and Jack Williams join Hill and center Sam Harrison returns to round out the 20.
