Gibbons, Spencer, Terry & Dunn all make first starts for Saturday's fixture.

The focus this week has been on maintaining consistency across defence and attack - the scoreline against Taunton suggested that our attack went well but we need to be better on our defensive detail on our transitions.

Gloucester Academy and Former England U18 players Cam Terry & Reece Dunn make their competitive debuts for Clifton as the side look to capitalise on their positive start to 2019 against a strong Worthing side.

Terry is one of 6 changes in the pack as Matt Salter looks to add power to Clifton's attacking game; Jack Spencer comes into the starting line up in place of Mark Roberts, who drops to the bench, alongside the returning Dave Wheeler and Callum Simpson, who replaces the absent Ricky Cano.
Matthew Hall returns to the side to partner Henry Harper in the second row with Dave Hill unavailable through injury. An exciting and explosive back row sees Dan Hill shift across to 6, with Niall Gibbons handed a start after his impressive display off the bench against Taunton with Terry coming into the open-side in place of Chris Rovery.

Tom Francis moves to 10 and partners Mitch Spencer, who continue to captain the side from scrum half with Sam Goatley moving in to 12 to accommodate the return from injury of Chris Leversley to form an exciting center partnership. Leversley returns after 3 weeks out and his ability to cause defences problems will be a boost to the side.

Will Pomphery
and Hugh Campbell are retained on the wings with exciting prospect Dunn comes into full back.

Recent signing Matthew Davies will look to make his competitive bow in the Lavender in Black as he comes stating into the bench and is joined by Roberts, Jack Williams, Aidan Ali and Brad Barnes completes the 20.

"The focus this week has been on maintaining consistency across defence and attack - the scoreline against Taunton suggested that our attack went well but we need to be better on our defensive detail on our transitions. Worthing have a lot of firepower out wide and they can create something from nothing, so we have to apply pressure and take space on our transitional phases. We have proved this season that we can disrupt good attacking teams and this weekend we have to maintain consistency. Similar to us, Worthing thrive on chaos with the ball, so we need to ensure that we are consistent in our effort and desire both sides of the ball." Mike Barber, Defence Coach
