Over the years, visits to The Rugby Park have proved very entertaining affairs, with both team looking to play expansive rugby. Earlier in the season, Clifton ran out comprehensive 37-15 winners at Station Road and will be looking to capitalise on their recent run of good form. Worthing sit 8th in the table on 43 points, 4 places above Clifton (12th) on 35 points.
Matt Salter has the luxury of picking from a squad that sees a number of players return to action for the weekend's fixture. With new signings Niall Gibbons & Jack Spencer making impressive impacts off the bench last week, Clifton also welcome back Gloucester Rugby trio Cam Terry, Reece Dunn and Alex Morgan from Premiership Shield action.
The pack is further boosted by the arrival of new signing Matthew Davies from Welsh Principality Premiership side Llanelli. The former Ospreys u18 lock has slotted into training with ease this week and is available for selection along with Matthew Hall after his successful return to action last week with the Wanderers side who ran our 27-5 winners over local rivals Dings.
Utility back Chris Leversley and Winger Bentley Halpin could also see returns to action following their recovery from injuries sustained in the win against Dings before Christmas.
Former Bristol Bears prop Alex Giltrow continues his rehabilitation and is nearing full fitness as well as Charlie Bullimore who came through the Wanderers game against Dings with no issues.
