You may have seen the article on the front page of todays (28th April 2014) Bristol Post. This article is a fair representation of the activity of the club development team and the progress made since the Development Workshop and the on-line questionnaire which was posted on the club website also in October 2013. Please be aware that our activity is not just limited to facility development and includes other areas such as player retention and recruitment, marketing and profile, and more.
We presented those outcomes and a summary of the current and proposed activity at the follow up development meeting held at the club last Wednesday (23rd April). A copy of the presentation is in the members section of the website. This was well received by the members present. There is a need for on-going discussion and consultation within the club as these plans progress and further meetings will be held on a regular basis. An EGM will be called if and when decisions have to be made about any major investment or disposal of part of our site and of course we will continue to liaise with the club Trustees.
This is an exciting time for the club and we would welcome representation from all sections of the club onto the development team, specifically to assist in our communication process and to ensure we continue to reflect the interests of all members.
