On the 19th December 2022 a number of Clifton members attended a secondary SGM meeting to further discuss the Clifton Development Committee’s proposals for redevelopment of the clubhouse and grounds.

Quorum was reached at the meeting and Members voted unanimously to accept the following motion:

“Clifton RFC members support the sale of approximately 4 acres of the Clubs’ land to finance the redevelopment of the club grounds and a new clubhouse”

Members felt that redevelopment of the club house and grounds was vitally important to secure both the club and the game for future generations, acknowledging that the sale of a portion of land is necessary to fully fund the project.

The Clifton Development Committee will now progress with the next stages of the clubs' redevelopment plans and details will be released when available,
