Clifton members were invited to attend a Special General Meeting on October 6th to discuss the Clifton Development Committee’s proposals for redevelopment of the clubhouse and grounds.

The meeting was well-received, however attendees felt more information was required regarding some details of the development proposals. Therefore, the SGM was not fully concluded with any resolution or vote. Minutes are available upon request and a secondary SGM has been organised.

14 Days Notice is hereby served of an additional SGM to address points raised in the previous SGM.

The resolution to be moved as proposed by Darren Lloyd (Seconded by Aftab Hamid) at the conclusion of this meeting:

“Clifton RFC members support the sale of approximately 4 acres of the Clubs’ land to finance the redevelopment of the club grounds and a new clubhouse”

Date of Meeting: 19th December 2022, 7pm at Clifton RFC.

A register of voting members will be taken at the meeting, please confirm attendance by response to the secretary so we can confirm if Quorum is likely to be achieved. Any apologies would also be appreciated so they can be noted in the SGM Minutes.

Members who are unable to attend in person due to illness or travel issues can attend virtually with prior notice to the secretary and a link to the meeting will be provided.
