Clifton rugby members from all sections of the club were on had to help with the final day of preparations as DIY SOS and Nick Knowles raced to finish a new play area in southmead. The project was short on volunteers prior to the approaching deadline and a number of members from the club stepped in to help on Wednesday 27th October to get the job finished.
Colt and Clifton Rugby player Rohan Robinson was on hand to help and was positive on the experience..."I am really greatful to have been apart of such an amazing project and represent Clifton RFC to help create a more exciting play area for the children of southmead. Throughout the day my fellow teammates and I were helping out with everything from building the foundations for a sunken trampoline, spreading wood chippings to putting together football goals and a basketball hoop, we did everything we could to get the project finished for the deadline, the following day..
