Everyone at Clifton Rugby Club was deeply saddened to hear of the sudden passing of Steve Bold over the weekend.

Steve was clearly one of those special club people who give everything to rugby – as a player, captain, coach, volunteer, Chair, and above all as a friend to so many. His commitment to North Bristol RFC, his love for the game, and the impact he had on generations of players and families is plain to see in every tribute shared.

Rugby clubs are built on people like Steve – those who give their time, energy, heart and spirit to others without ever asking for recognition.

Our thoughts and heartfelt condolences are with Steve’s wife Sharmaine, his children Kaiya and Ellis, and everyone at North Bristol RFC during this incredibly difficult time.
