Clifton Wanderers will travel to Veritas Park on Saturday for their penultimate pre-season friendly against a strong Taunton II team as Paul Finkin includes no less than 8 players with National League experience for the clash against the Titans.

Ethan Gaynor, Jack Spencer, Dan Broady, Will Luxford, Sam Harrison, Tom Jones, Mat West and Blake Boyland all feature alongside senior squad members such as Will Mortimer, Sam Turner, Kei Burgh, James Clancy and Geraint Powell.

Connor Sloan, Moinee Wilson and recent addition Daf Manley make up an exciting back 3 that will no doubt look to exploit some of the wide spaces this weekend.

Trafford Squire, Gwion Davies and former Dragons Academy flanker Frankie Souto will make their Clifton debuts this weekend as Leroy Pearson comes back into the fold.

"Having a strong senior squad is absolutely critical to the success of the club. There are boys that are banging on the door for selection to the 1st XV. We have see with Zak Ward moving up this week that with 30 games in 33 weeks at National 2, boys need to be playing regularly and in a competitive league. This is a great opportunity for these boys as we look towards the start of the league season at the end of the month against OE's. It is an exciting time for all the senior squad and this weekend is another opportunity to put what we have worked on in the week against a strong Taunton side. "
