Great Start to the Season

We entered the tournament with two mixed ability sides, Lavender & Black. Both teams went onto win their pools, beating some local rivals and last year’s tournament winners, playing some great Rugby with some outstanding committed tackling, superb support play and determination.

Both teams met OB's in the round Robin finals, Lavenders were on the field first against OB's finishing in a draw, next up it was Clifton Lavender v Clifton Blacks. Lavenders just managed to clinch the win, It was now down to Clifton Blacks to beat the very strong OB side, which they did with some stylish Rugby, the win positioned their Lavender teammates into Tournament winners.
